Does anyone have any information or links/ pointers to information relating to the possibilities for nanotech with respect to computing (i.e. size/ computing speed/ etc.)

[Start with Nanosystems chapter 12. A gigahertz *mechanical* CPU in a 400 nanometer cube. Somewhat smaller and faster if designed in atomic detail -- which hasn't been done yet. Much faster, but probably not quite as small, in molecular electronics. --JoSH]
