I agree that microtechnology could be skipped. However, I think that it can
be used to a large extent as an interface technology within nanotech stuff.
For instance, a good pair of microtech grippers could be used to move
nanotech sub-assemblies that were not designed with mobility mechanisms into
different positions that would be a much more complex problem (IMHO)
using nanotech itself. Does anyone have an idea as to
the current precision of microtech devices?
