Actually this is another case of my lack of familiarity with Linux.  It
seems that RedHat considers including a '.' in the path statement is a
security hole. Consequently compall isn't finding copy because the script
should read ./comp rather that comp for my installation.

I'll be trying again later today (it's 4:40 am right now).

Other than that I'm quite pleased with RedHat.  How's Debian doing for you?
