GU: mcscf problems

I have gamess up and running under linux on a 120MHz pc with 32 mb ram.
The test jobs all ran   ok except for 06 and 09, which involve mcscf
calculations. In both cases my jobs exceeded the default number of
iterations, and it wasn't clear from the output whether convergence
would have occurred. Also bench07 terminated abnormally as a result of
exceeding the number of iterations.

I would appreciate any input/advice available.
