I have been reading "Prospects in Nanotechnology" which was printed after the first general conference on nanotechnology (1992). In chapter 5, Mr. Michael Pique discuss the topic of modelling and remodelling molecules and their ability to attract metal ions, especially on antibodies in the human body. I wonder if anyone know if there is any models of attracting any heavy metals as plumbum or mercury and accordingly lower the toxic rate in our body.

I believe that if scientists where able to solve such a problem the research in nanotechnology would bee much interesting to look into for for example govnerments and that the science therefore would benefit on solving such task.
